Roofriendly Limited is still open for business. We continue to provide quotations, our installation team are still fitting products. A considerable amount of our customers fall into the highest risk category for the illness, we want to protect our county and customers so wanted to update you on how we are doing this.

Our teams are mainly one person, two at most, they all work independently of eaxh other and see only one/two customers a day. This makes the risk posed by us very low and easy to manage. Still, to be absolutely certain we are doing everything we can, some changes to how the individual teams work have been implemented as follows:

All Staff:

  • Take two weeks leave if you or any member of your household is showing signs of symptoms.
  • Avoid social activities outside of work
  • Meetings are banned until further notice
  • Staff visiting showrooms or the warehouse should sanitize hands before entering premises, drop-off/pick-up and leave, no congregating.
  • Refrain from physical contact (handshaking etc)

Door canvassing teams:

  • Take two weeks leave if you or any member of your household is showing signs of symptoms.
  • Keep a minimum of 2 metres from customer doorways.
  • Regularly wash or sanitize hand’s throughout the day.
  • Discuss the needs of customer before booking appointments, assess risk to them and staff, diarise future contact if better for them.

Product consultancy team:

  • Take two weeks leave if you or any member of your household is showing signs of symptoms.
  • Hand sanitize before every appointment.
  • Where possible measure products from outside.
  • Keep distance from customers whilst inside the home or if the customer prefers, discuss options from outside.
  • Clean dem kits and folders down daily.
  • Regularly sanitize pens and measuring equipment.

Surveyor Team:

  • Hand sanitize before every appointment.
  • Where possible, measure products from outside.
  • Keep distance from customers whilst in the property
  • Regularly sanitize pens and measuring equipment.
  • Politely decline any drinks offered by customer.

Fitting Teams:

  • Sanitize all tools daily
  • Keep distance from customer
  • Where possible install products externally.
  • Politely decline any drinks offered by the customer.

Office Staff:

  • Keep office equipment clean
  • Regularly sanitize office door handles throughout the day.
  • Keep to your own individual offices.
  • Use internal phones to communicate where possible.

Customers:

  • If showing signs of symptoms prior to an appointment, please call us to discuss necessary actions.
  • Our showroom is only available with prior booking over the phone.
